Grampians Fine Wine Festival, October 2023

Come and experience what makes the Grampians Wine Region so incredible during the Grampians Fine Wine Festival, 1 October - 31 October 2023. With events at cellar doors, pubs, wine bars and restaurants across the entire region plus there's even a street party. The full list of events can be found on the Grampians Wine Festival page.

For over 160 years, the Grampians have been crafting exceptional cool-climate fine wines, renowned for their quality and longevity. Situated just a two-hour drive to the west of Melbourne, this region impresses serious wine enthusiasts with both established and boutique wineries, spanning from the acclaimed Mount Langi Ghiran in the east to the wine village and sub-region of Great Western.

Within this region lie some of Australia's if not the worlds oldest and rarest vines. Each winery boasts a passionate aficionado who eagerly shares the history behind every bottle, crafted with immense pride.

Furthermore, the Grampians region satisfies the foodie within. You can savor seasonal produce at Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co., indulge in mouth-watering smoked meats at Flame Bros, enjoy family-friendly options at The Kookaburra Hotel and, of course, relish an unforgettable culinary experience at the Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish in the Southern Grampians.

Here at B&G HQ we've planned a couple of events. First up, we've partnered with The Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish for a spectacular 5 course meal paired with 5 exceptional wines, including some from our museum. There may even be a sneaky extra wine thrown in. $135pp. Contact the Bunyip Hotel directly to book. 03 5574 2205. More info can also be found here.

This Meet the Maker Wine Tasting event, is an opportunity to taste a select range of Black & Ginger Wines alongside winemaker Hadyn Black and ask any burning questions you may have about wine, how it's made, how to taste it, what to pair it with... or just to have a good old fashioned chat. There will be 4 sessions running from 2pm on Saturday 28th October. Each session will run for 45 minutes and be limited to 6 places. BOOK NOW
